After six years of research, consulting, designing, troubleshooting, redesigning, experimenting and invention, I have learned a tremendous amount about designing and building a non-toxic tiny house on wheels. I want to share that expertise, but I don't want to turn my life upside down and become a consultant, since one reason I built this house was to support my work as a creative writer and social justice activist.
So, while I'll do a small amount of consulting, and maybe a Q & A column, my plan is to write a book with the most important things I learned, including the best materials I found for the job, and diagrams and text by my architect, Johnny Osband, and the perspectives of some of the other many people who took part in this project. |
