Host the Vehicle
I am looking for long and short term places to park all over the country for the next several years. I'm interested in quiet rural retreats, working organic farms, residencies with urban activist organizations and projects, empty lots, street parking where cities will allow it, and everything in between.
I am also looking for people and projects to feature on Letters from Earth, my audio blog on Pacifica Radio's Flashpoints, opportunities to interact with interesting people and communities, and oases of peace and quiet where I can reflect and write uninterrupted.
The Vehicle itself is 32' by 8.5', has a fold down porch that is an additional 8 feet deep, and is 13' 4" high. It's internal systems are solar powered, except for a propane water heater. It has a super efficient Kimberly wood stove that is virtually smokeless, and a composting toilet. While I do need a water faucet to connect to during longer stays, a full tank usually lasts me 10-14 days, and if the weather is overcast for several days in a row, I may need to connect to eother a 30 amp hookup or a regular 15 amp household electrical plug (120 volt.)

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While my Vehicle is equipped with air and water filtration, it's best for me to stay in relatively unpolluted places. I need to avoid:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- A flat space to park that is
- at least 40 feet long and 12 feet wide for short stay, 18 feet wide for longer ones.
- Is in full sun most of the day.
- Can be pulled into without any tight turns and gotten out of without tricky maneuvers. I really love pull through sites or large lots where I can circle around and drive straught out.
- Is accessible by roads without tight curves, steep hills, or low branches and wires.
- A water hose where I can refill my tank.
- For overcast weather, somewhere to plug in.
- Parking for my pickup truck which is an additional 19' long.
- Either a nearby dump station or, preferably, ways to make use of grey water.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While my Vehicle is equipped with air and water filtration, it's best for me to stay in relatively unpolluted places. I need to avoid:
- pesticide spraying.
- tobacco smoke.
- charcoal fire starter fluids.
- concentrated diesel and other exhaust fumes.
