Plumbing

How will water move through my house and what will it do there?

My plumbing system is small, but a little bit complicated.  I have a fresh water and two grey water tanks slung from the frame of the trailer. A Grundfos pump moves water from the freshwater tank through my Pure Effect, four chamber water filter. From there it goes to my kitchen sink, bathroom sink, dishwasher, and my hand held shower, which I also use to water my miniature greenhouse.

My fresh water system is made of Aquatherm polypropylene pipes from Germany.  They are made to tougher European environmental standards, and are a healthier alternative to PVC, Pex, and copper.

Now that I'm on the road, my water system also includes hoses to bring fresh water in, and grey water out.  I was thrilled to discover the Clear Flow hose, which is made of polypropylene and nylon, is see through so I can watch the water go into my tank, and is flat when empty, so it takes up very little room in my water supplies locker.

I also have a wide dump hose that empties my sink, shower, and dishwasher water into campground dump stations, or gardens, or fields of friendly farmers.
